Summer is here—it’s time to tackle Eurasian Watermilfoil (EWM) in Anderson Lake. Professional removal teams will work beyond the ends of docks, but shore areas need volunteers.
Join us at the boat landing on Saturday July 11th at 10:00 a.m. to form groups and learn removal techniques.
Please don’t let this work fall on 10% of the Lake District – we rely on everyone’s participation. Please help if you can.
We are trying to keep the EWM at bay with your help and the help of contractors that cost $2400 per day. If the EWM gets out of control, we will be forced to spend approximately $70,000 for treatment.
